How we got started
Chris initially started 1st Choice Lawn Care out of sheer passion for working outside and wanting to help people maintain their properties. He really enjoys the instant gratification that comes along with property maintenance and landscaping work. After helping grow the business silently in the background Brittney decided to leave her full time job in corporate America and join the team full time as well! They have been growing and building the business together since early 2023 and loving every minute. Brittney and Chris really take pride in what they do and truly want every customer to feel like family. They can’t wait to see that customer's smiling face after a completed job!
Community involvement
Community involvement has the power to bring positive measurable change to both the community, and also have a significant impact on the company's culture. We have started creating positive change for the community by being apart of The Brazil Main Street in watering the flowers at 40/59 and cleaning up Main Street, sponsoring our young youth teams, donating and sponsoring our Clay Community schools, and volunteering our time to serve our community at dinners or events and much more. 1st Choice is also a proud, active member of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce.

Owners
Chris and Brittney started in the pharmaceutical world when we were first out of highschool. While doing that we developed a keen eye for detail and a very quality oriented mindset. In 2021 we decided we wanted to start a business, we spent the next year planning every detail out for 1st Choice Lawn Care and in January 2022 we started going to work by gaining new customers and creating relationships. As our company and services have expanded so has our impact in the community. We welcome you to experience the best that we have to offer. We strive to keep our customer relationships growing and healthy.
